Guest guest
Hi - Thank you for sharing this Godincidence. Definitely a sign. Anyone could have found that ball but it was there for you to see. Also, it seems that your dad was one up over your husband that day. :-)) Great story! First let me preface by saying that my Dad really enjoyed golf during his life. The first time I golfed after he died, a funny thing happened to me. We were on about the 14th hole behind a townhouse where my husband used to live. Two of the men hit their golfballs into the rough (a Cypress tree patch). We went over to look for the balls. I saw the first, most obvious one.. a Titlest ball...didn't belong to either player. So we left it and went looking for their balls. Once they were located I headed back to the golf cart. I usually don't pick up found balls, but this one looked brand new. I picked it up and there was a logo on the back. It said Batesville. I couldn't believe it...Batesville was the brand of the casket I had purchased for my dad one week earlier!! Wow! Needless to say, I saved it and consider it a sign. I like to think my dad was out there with me in spirit that day My husband said " So what you're telling me is your dad cost me a stroke!! " because I told him we wouldn't have found it if he hadn't hit over there. Take care, Daughter of Bill Welcome to LBDcaregivers.
