Guest guest
Kathleen, I have had the pain block and it did not do much either. I had the cervical facet joint radio frequency denervation. I had been diagnosed with cervical facet syndrome. It did help some with the pain in my neck and shoulder but not with my headaches. I had this done in June of 2004. You should maybe try it and see if it helps. I am going to pursue having it done again ... if it is possible... when I have insurance again. I know it will not help my head pain but it does help the shoulder and neck pain. I would be interested in knowing about the surgical implant for the head pain. Let us know what you decide and if it helps. He also mentioned cutting the nerves to kill them so I don't have any feeling. He said the nerves are what is causing my headaches. I don't know what to think. Others have said they had something surgically implanted to help with headaches. I don't know what to think, could you give me feedback, I'm sure others on the list would like to know your answers as well.
