Guest guest
I checked with my compounding pharmacy to find out what the filler they used in my natural dessicated thyroid was and he said they used " methylcellulose " . I wanted to be sure it didn't contain gluten. From a search on the internet it seems it does not contain gluten but I was confused as to if it was similar to Monosodium glutate MSG. Which I need to avoid as well. The pharmacist said they could use " calcium carbonate " I think? My questions are does methycellulose contain gluten? Is methylcellulose like MSG? Is calcium carbonate something I should avoid? What is a safe filler that I can request? Thank you for your help. Lydia
