Guest guest
You can go into Insert ---> Symbol and make a shortcut key for the question mark. I have not been able to find the combo for that one. I make a lot of my shortcuts, such as the degree sign in AutoCorrect ( " de " would come up as the degree symbol). That might be an idea. Guest guest
Shel- It is soooo inexpensive your not going to believe it. Go into Help and enter the word shortcuts and you have it. In Word you have the option in Help to ask what your looking for. There are 3 Help tabs.....one is the contents, there's entering a couple of letters of a word, and the last one is entering the words that you want to find. Your bound to come up with something. Play around with it....that's how I learned. I have been using Word since early 1994, and have had 4 upgrades from when I first started and am now thinking about the Office 2000 thing, although my client does not use that version of Word....I would need to find out whether they will work together, which they probably will. Anyway, keep trying different things and see what you come up with! Have fun! Guest guest
Start, Programs, Accessories, Character Map, Symbol font, check mark is on the 6th row across/10th character from the right. Highlight the checkmark and click on copy. Go to the screen you want to post the checkmark and click on Paste. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Wow, I must be the village idiot. WHERE did you guys find all this out?!?!? I'm sorry to sound like the newbie that I am when it comes to Windows, WP, etc., but is there somewhere you can get all this stuff in print other than annoying you guys for it?!?! I have NEVER taken a computer course, so I know nothing of word processing, and even less about how to make this computer do anything I tell it to do!!! If you guys know where I could get this info (and preferably somewhere CHEAP), I'd greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks in advance for ALL your help!!! I've learned a LOT in the last week just from reading my e-mail!!! You've ALL been a real blessing to me while I'm sitting here in isolation!! I love the work at home thing, but it's not conducive to learning very many new tricks when the only thing you have to talk to is a computer and a glass of Pepsi!!!thanks again for everything!!!
