Guest guest
Thanks you two for keeping me in your thoughts. On the weekend we cleaned mom and dad's house in honour of my mom - she was the cleanest person I ever knew (one cleaning job away from OCD!). As of today the house now belongs to a young couple. It was tough but I kept my mind on the cleaning tasks. Dad has moved into a room on the same side of the building as mom so if they have to prevent visitors due to upper respiratory infections he can still see mom. And, shock of all shocks - he is actually eating some of the LTCF's food! Our caregiver Lyn has been feeding him and he is going along with it. I never thought I'd see the day as many of you know how much of a hard time he has given me at every turn. My children and are doing well and I hope to learn whether I will be enjoying a new grand-daughter/son in about two weeks time. Thanks again for thinking of me. Guest guest
Courage, Can't believe it is already time for the new little one. It does get more complicated as more little ones come into your life. I am still cleaning out Mom's stuff after 4 years as it all went into my upstairs. Each time I do another box, all the memories flood back. Glad to hear your Dad is actually doing fairly well. You didn't say how Olivia is doing and how I miss your stories of her. Take care of yourself. Sending lots of hugs your way. Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02 No dx other than mine. Donna/Sandie Thanks you two for keeping me in your thoughts.
