Guest guest
, could she have diahrea from the probiotics? If so, maybe you should cut back, once a week or so................call kirkman and ask the what you can put it in, or not put it in.............The wafers aren't the best tasting but they're sweet and can be tolerated compared to MOM chewables etc. Come to think of it, even if it's not from the diahrea, I'd back off for a while........... Subject: diahreah??To: miralax Date: Thursday, January 8, 2009, 8:40 PM Holy cow.....my 3 1/2 year old has sort of diahreah (how do you spell that anyway?). She has NEVER had regular poop - the constipation started at 8 weeks old and has been horrific ever since. Well lo and behold the rest of us, had a "stomach" thing the past 2-3 weeks where we had "soft" poop with immediate need to go a few times a day for like a week. SHE GOT IT. She has pooped EVERYDAY for for SEVEN days. I want to bottle up this virus for when she hasn't gone for days and is crying on the potty. Cruel right? She doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. ....we also started Kirkman's probiotic wafers that are all the rage around here during this time. So my question is.....should I not give her anymore Probiotic until this "clears up"? Prior to this I had been giving her good belly every other day and a powedered probitic (10 billion CFU) daily in addition to prune/plum juice daily. By the way, she HATES the "taste" of the wafers. So far I have been giving her a life saver or breath mint as a chaser but I know that is not going to last long. Any suggestions? Do you think I could crush it and put it in ice cream or applesauce? Interesting that she doesn't like it. I think it is more to do with the texture then taste. This is the same kid who will drink PRUNE juice - yikes!Any suggestions are welcomed. Guest guest
Well the diahrea started friday and we started kirkman (in the place of good belly and the other probiotic) on tuesday. I don't think the wafers are causing the diahrea - and it's not really diahreah it is " soft " formed stool just that she has to go " NOW " . The whole family already had this virius over the holiday. Should I stop the Kirkman until the diahrea stops? > > > Subject: diahreah?? > To: miralax > Date: Thursday, January 8, 2009, 8:40 PM > > > > > > > Holy cow.....my 3 1/2 year old has sort of diahreah (how do you spell > that anyway?).
