Guest guest
Dear list members, For the aching feet I would try that DMSO. It really helped my hip when the doctor patted me on the shoulder and told me between diabetes and polio I didn't have a prayer. Sugar Beats!! Is really cute. We need something happy with a disease that sometimes gets us down. -l.o.
Guest guest
I knew a couple of guys in college who were diabetic, and they wanted to start a band by that name. I think they just wound up working for Microsoft as I haven't heard a thing from them. LOL I tried to join another list at e-groups, but I got the acceptance letter, IN DUTCH! I think I did a boo-boo. I am laughing so hard right now, I'm lowering the glucose levels!!! S. petra@... wrote: > Dear list members, > > For the aching feet I would try that DMSO. Guest guest
Pump it up! A lot has happened this week that if I were still on shots, I'd be in the hospital on my boyfriend's laptop 'puter, or having withdrawl symptoms from no email! LOL! It really is a great thing and I'm happy to hear of the boy on the list getting a pump too. I'm 16 years with this and have bad eyesight from birth, so I got it on my own as I didn't want to lose what little sight I have left to diabetes. I think the last 7 years on it has made a VAST difference in my current state of health, which I'm proud to say is quite good. My ins. upgraded the one I'd bought before. You write anytime you want to, I use Disetronic. Are you on that or Mini-Med? Curious, that's all... Cheers, S. Guest guest
Yeah, I mentioned in my bio that I like swimming the best, as I don't see well from birth so jogging and I have an agreement; I don't and it won't trip me :-) When I got the pump, Disetraonic was the only one with the audible boluses too, a plus for the nearsighted. Guest guest
Hi AMy, From Nebraska to New York! Wow that is a major change. Where in Nebraska did you live? My inlaws are from there. Probably just as cold in New York as it is in Nebraska I bet. Try to stay warm, brrrrr. I live in California, winter just hit this last week and it has only been cold 2 days, but lots of rain the last 3. But now we are suppose to be nice again for this next week. -- Re: Hello... We have 3 girls, (6), (4) & Lizzie (2). I homeschool so it is tough, but rewarding. My husband is a seminarian and we live on campus in New York - just moved in August from Nebraska (what was that they said about avoiding stress - oy, vey!) Thanks for the warm welcome, Amy
Guest guest
Hi Amy, My name is Robin I am new to the group also. I take Rebif and Baclofen. I have the supplements but I do not take them I need to get myself to take them. I do do yoga, and meditation and I exercise 3 times a week. Right now lately I have gone through a lot of stress and as anyone with MS knows if you can keep the stress level down the more the better. Sounds like you are on the positive road good luck and it will be nice to get to know you too. Welcome! Robin > > I'm new to the group...I see some familiar names from the another MS > group I'm on.
