Guest guest Posted September 27, 2000 Report Share Posted September 27, 2000 The Tennessee Chapter of APCO in association with the Knox County Emergency Communications District is proud to host the popular PSTC class - Customer Service the 911 Way - This one day class will be held Friday, October 27th 0830-1630 - You are invited to join this class that is specific to public safety dispatchers and other civilian positions. A wide variety of topics include: · Tools to defuse upset callers · Saving time while call taking · Public expectations · Liability exposure · Valuable terms to use during routine and in-progress events. This class offers great suggestions you can use immediately. The class is taught by PSTC Trainer Willett, an experienced dispatcher who receives outstanding reviews from students. This class will benefit any dispatcher or records employee from new to experienced. It's a great call taker/dispatcher update class. Class cost is $95.00 per person. The classes will be held at the Knox County Health Department Auditorium at 140 Dameron Avenue, Knoxville, TN on Wednesday, October 25, 2000.
