Sounds a bit odd to me! However, a lot of my Tourette Syndrome/Asperger contacts who I support in my day job, use acupuncture to alleviate some of the physical impacts of sudden, jerky movements. Such as the tics, or 'stimmies' that make you do a repetitive movement, or sudden big motor movement, the hand flapping or body jerking of the Aspie stimmie. They result in whiplash style injuries, and the acupuncture, along with other manipulative therapies, helps to relax the tight muscles or take away some of the painful spasms.

Other than that, I would be surprised if it affected the chemical rushes or 'cured' any ASD conditions!

Hi Judy,I met a someone today who is teaching traditional acupuncture at the local medical school, he is from China.However, he didn't know about autism!Reason enough for me to Google " acupuncture and ASD " and I was flabbergasted.
