Guest guest Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 I've been apart of this group for awhile but hadn't had much to post...my daughter is 19 months old and was diagnosed with tethered cord at 3 months. When I first joined I just wanted to know more about the condition. But now that we are getting into doctors appointments and discussing surgery, I am getting a little anxious about health insurance. She was diagnosed while we were under a group plan but then my husband lost that job and we haven't been able to get in under another group plan and her pre-existing condition makes it hard to find coverage for her. We are currently on Medicaid but have been told as of June we are no longer eligible. Does anyone have advice? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
