Government agreed to extend regulation to herbal medicine

The Department of Health published the final Report of the Extending

Professional Regulation Working Group today 16th July 2009

Please note the comments at 17 ( Section 1.15)

" Government has also agreed to extend regulation to practitioners of

acupuncture, herbal medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine practised in the

UK " .

We understand that the next stage will be the launch of a public consultation on

both this report and the report of the Steering Group. We will keep you updated
