Guest guest
I was wondering if I should be concerned about this? Long story short, I had one DD with a tethered spinal cord, it was fixed she's thriving now! I have another DD who is 2 1/2, I was concerned that she may have a tethered cord as well b/c of a dimple. However, her ped. wasn't particularly concerned about the dimple, said it was firm and closed. BUT he did send us for a renal and bladder ultrasound to make sure nothing was going on in there. (With my TSC DD she had severe kidney hydronephrosis and a neurogenic, oversized bladder). I have noticed that sometimes she doesn't pee very often, but other days she does so I was concerned she was starting to do the same thing as my other DD> So everything was normal on her u/s EXCEPT she had debris in her urine. So we waited a month, went back, and had another u/s - she had debris in it still. Does anyone know why she'd have this? Should I be concerned? The ped. wasn't b/c he said her bladder looks fine, her kidneys look fine, etc. But he's not a urologist. I don't want to go LOOKING for trouble. I was just curious what you all thought?
