Guest guest
Besides nystatin or prescribed meds? After doing more research tonight I think the sudden hand flapping is due to yeast issues! I am starting my girl back on probiotics asap (kirkmans) and i will add an extra acidopholis pill....I bought Grape Seed extract thinking that GSE was just that....but then i saw someone mention GSE is grape FRUIT SEED extract. So, will the grape seed extract i have help at all? And. have the probioitcs probably been keeping the yeast at bay or ? And, is the sorbitol feeding the yeast? Thanks for apologizing and I understand where you are coming from. I guess I should not have included that info in my post and just asked the question I wanted to konw the answer to....if sorbitol can cause yeasty issues? Esp since we stopped her probiotic at the same time. yikes. Angi cayceus wrote: Sorry if what I said offeneded you! Im just a little upset at doctors these days over drugging our children! Nothing was directed at you personally. I wish you the best whatever you choose to do. It's hard to raise healthy, happy children in these modern days and YES....like you said....sometimes we need medications. I did myself for anxiety for a while was on xanax! Im sorry you took the comments as a negative. We were just a little shocked that they would give a five year old strong medicines. Again....I apologize for anything I said that may have offeneded you. Blessings! Cayce Not that you need a 3rd -- but there is no reason IMO to give a 5 yr old celexa. My son has SPD and I can attribute almost all of his sensory issues to biological reasons. For example, he rarely hand flaps -- first time I saw it he was 4 -- but now I know it's due to yeast flaring up for him. Please start reading up on the DAN approach and find a good practitioner. That's easier said than done-- in my case I have researched myself and found that I end up teaching the ND and MD things As a start for your daughter -- epsom salt baths will relax and calm and they help with constipation too. > > From: Soracco <megsoracco@ gmail. com> > Subject: cannot get daughter regular OR son > To: "Miralax" <miralax@yahoogroup s .com> > Date: Monday, January 12, 2009, 6:32 PM > > > > > > My daughter was on Miralax for almost 4 years, son off and on to move things. We stopped it for both of them, but NEITHER is regular. We use the Little MOM and son won't drink it, won't have it in his juice, daughter gets the daily dose but again has not gone for probably 1 1/2 weeks, son about the same.
