Guest guest
Tanning is a symptom of high ACTH as in adrena failure, your friend needs ot have her cortiosl levels checked pronto! I have not sen an immediate turn around of high pulse, but slowly it can come down unless you are on too much T3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Ok, so the pulse can come down over time as the RT3 clears out of the system. Your last email to me stated that you didn't think I was on high enough does of Cytomel at 50mcg, but due to the pulse of 108, i need to stay here until it lowers. I have tried everything from potassium, salt, lowering caffine intake, etc....and the pulse just stays at 108. Dropped the Cytomel to 40 mcg slowely and all that happend was hair loss started up again. So.....unless there is something I am missing, I think the only thing that will bring the pulse down is the removal of RT3. I just need to know how it works. I am still hypo on the 40 or even 50 mcgs of Cytomel. I have also gained weight that will not come off right now, so I am thinking that my body will turn itself around once the RT3 clears. (Also, how long does this take?) My last dose of T4 was offically 8 weeks ago. I am going to request new bloodwork next month as well. What do you reccomend as we are trying to deal with the high pulse? Thanks! Guest guest
Are you taking your pulse when you are sitting still for at leats 15-20 minutes? Not sure about you but I am over weight and NOT in good physical condition at all and my pulse runs 97-103 all the time and that is NORMAL for me. The older oyuare are and being overweight and out of shape causes a higher pulse. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Hey Val, This pulse is not normal for me. I am 5'1" and about 126 right now. Last year once I started on Thyroid meds I got down to 114. Upon adding HC I was back up to 121. I did not have pulse problems the whole time until I went back to Armour and increased my dose from 2 grains to 3 in a 3 mth time frame. Since I went back on and up on Armour. I have now been weened off and moved over to Cytomel 50 mcg. Since I have trouble shooted every other thing known for high pulse, the only thing I can think of is it is due to RT3. (In the past on 50 mcg of Cytomel my pulse is normally in the 70-80 range and always has been.) So 108 is extreemly abnormal for me.
