Guest guest
I was at my endo yesterday, I asked again about Compounded T3 or Natural Thyroid. I am currently taking Cytomel, its a manufactured T3. I have only been taking 5 mcg a day as along with my adrenal gland h-cortizone it all causes alot of anxiety. He RX'd it for 2 times a day to up to 2 tablets 2 a day. He was still leary about the compounded T3 because it was not time released, you just got one burst of T3 in a day. Of course after I left I thought of asking him what about making 2 smaller RX's to take twice a day. As for Natural Thryoid, he said I could try that, he didn't have a problem with me doing it, but that I didn't need an RX, I could just order it online. He is going to call asap when my new lab work comes back, he is concerned about my cortisol levels and wants to see my new T3 & T4 levels. I had stopped taking synthroid and felt no different. So when I type in 'Natural Thyroid' at Google I get a mess of results. Am I calling it by the wrong name? I've looked around and should I have asked for Nature-Throid? Is it helpful? I am just so tired of being sick and tired! My mind will get so wound up but my body is so weak. I get dizzy/fatigued easily and collapse. Its not fun living in a messy house, wanting to clean, trying it and getting faint and mad at myself. All within about 2 miles of my house, I went to the reg. dr. for antibiotics, then to Walgreens, dropped off RX, was looking for medicated lip balm dr. recommended for this allergic reaction I've had on my lower lip/chin for over a month, and I collapsed. Its so embarrassing. I don't want to even try leaving my house because I'm afraid if I go out I'll collapse in the grocery store, etc. I hate this.
