Guest guest
Two things that I know of that cause multiple, body glands to swell -- bacteria and worms. Skin itching is the body trying to rid toxins from pathogen wastes, and likely more related to worms. Thus, I would treat for worms, and then bad bacteria. I know Bartonella causes body glands to swell. Likely protozoa does as well, due to its size. Viruses usually only become problems because of bad bacteria wearing the body's immune system down. I think most of our special needs children have most types of pathogens (worms, protozoa, bacteria, viruses, and yeast), and treating for all is what I am seeing helping children. Their immune systems are very over-whelmed with all the over-growth of pathogens, and testing is expensive, time-consuming, and often unreliable. If you have access to good, thorough testing, that's great, but most don't and there are many "considered safe" types of treatments out there for various pathogens. And what's even better news, is that many herbs like grapefruit seed extract, treat for some protozoa, some bacteria, some yeast and some viruses. Thus, you may not know what you have, but you know some of it will be killed. Heidi N My three year old has severe allergies...which now seems to be the least of her issues and problems. Because her liver has been fighting the allergens for so long, her brain is not receiving the proper signals to get her to calm down and to relax. So any type of anxiety sends her into a tantrum of scratching...the type where her eyes roll to the back of her head and she lays scratching (legs up in the air) for HOURS. I literally check on her at 2 in the morning and she is doing INTENSE scratching in her sleep. Certain things have worked: 1/2 teaspoon of benedryl, with protein (a slice of turkey meat), and a two sprays of Endo-plus jr. Does ANYONE have ANY suggestions on how to curb her scratching. SHe also scratches like her 1 year old sister because they have had staph infections and moluscum since March and they cant seem to kick that. But the anxiety scratching really sends her on tailspin. Does anyone know of any other children who scratch uncontrollably FOR HOURS. (7 hours STRAIGHT was her longest bout). Both girls have glands as big as walnuts on their necks, groin and armpits. THeir doctor says it's their body fighting the moluscum. They have had swollen glands since March. Please be patient with me because I dont know all the terminology but this is what I am looking for:1.)Information on how I can get their bodies tested for an internal work up... to find out why are their glands sooo swollen? What minerals are deficient in their bodies? What types of nutrients do they need? Is their anything else internally or organ wise that isnt working properly?2.) What does the Hair testing do???? ANd where can I get that done?3.)Also, we live in NOrthridge California and would like to switch doctors who are savvier and open to holistic healing. And who get what is happening to our children (diet, toxins, food digestion etc.) ANY SUGGESTIONS!!! Desperately need suggestions?4.) Any thoughts on what I can do diet wise to help clean out their system and perhaps detox the liver? 5.) What types of help do you have for your children. Do you just see a DAN doctor. Do you see a nutritionist, homeopathic/holistic? What type of help should I look for a my daughter who obviously have severe allergies, toxic insides, possible immune issues (swollen glands)I am wide open to all thoughts and suggestions. Thank You Thank You THANK YOU, so much in advance.
