Guest guest
Hello all and thank you for your responses regarding my opposing opinions on my situation. I just went ahead and called Dr. Oro's office and spoke with Rene. She was so sweet and I explained to her my situation and that one doc said he didn't believe I had Chiari. She knew who I was (as I spoke with her to make my appointment) and said that Dr. Oro would not waste my time or his time since he is a very busy neurosurgeon to have me come out to Colorado if he didn't believe I had Chiari. She said that he definitely sees my herniation and until I get further tests considers me at a " borderline chairi " She said we will find out more after I do other MRI's and especially the CINE MRI showing spinal fluid blockage. She also talked to me about the spine MRI and X-rays that they will perform to find out about other disorders. She assured me that Dr. Oro considers me a borderline Chiarian and wouldn't waste my time or money to make the trip. She was VERY sweet!!! and I feel much better about everything. Thank you all so much.
