My dad was prescribed that drug and died soon after. He was in his 80's and had already had 2 quad bypass surgeries and a deminished heart capacity. I really wanted to get his case put into one of the avandia lawsuits but I know how it will go. They will use his failing health as a get out of free card as the cause of his death, not that he should have never been given that drug.

WOW! That's crazy! How scary! I am *so* glad I found this group, or else I would still be following my former, vaction-benefiting, endochronologist's orders to stay on synthroid no matter the cost! I am in such a better place now! My body feels so much better now! I am finally beginning to heal. SHAME on the drug companies! Makes me sick!
