Hi gang,

You might remember I've been struggling with my dosage between 88 and 100 mcg of

Levoxyl - 100 made my periods more frequent until they were coming every 2

weeks. At 88, I had no symptoms and perfect periods but my labs looked off

(borderline low T3, borderline high TSH).

So the last month or so I've been alternating between 88 and 100 every other

day. Now my period is early again (5-6 days early). This stinks because I will

now get it when I'm in Greece next month which I was trying to avoid!

I am assuming it's because I'm on too much thyroid again (makes me wonder if the

makers of Levoxyl are screwing up either the 88 or 100 dosage!).. BUT... I did

start a new diet/ exercise regime this weekend. Intense pilates in the morning,

and a restrictive diet that is pretty low calorie - this is the only way I can

hope to lose those last 10-15 pounds I want, I know, because just " watching what

I eat " does NOT work for me + my last 10-15... I already watch what I eat. And

I get discouraged if I don't see results.

I read drinking 5 cups of green tea a day will also help with weight loss, so I

did that yesterday. It was a bit extreme for me, I did feel a bit jittery, not

great. Then I started spotting a little last night. This morning right after I

took my 100 mcg dosage I felt really revved up, not good, and then the blood

really started flowing :(

My question is, could it possibly be the green tea and/ or dieting that started

my period early? I know that the tea and exercise would boost metabolism/

thyroid, but dieting should have slowed things. I'm confused. But I do remember

drinking Yerba Mate back in February and feeling suspicious that it also helped

bring my period on early - this is just a hunch/ instinct. Anyone else had

experience with these teas?

Thanks
