Guest guest
Donna, I have worried my head off with this new DVD I bought. My son came over tonight and said, " Mom, your TV's are too old to accept a DVD player. It had color coated wires, but I need new glasses, and couldn't see the writing that said for audio. Not for my machine at all. So I will return the thing to Wal-Mart. I have another grandson that may be able to change your Gift of the DVD into a CD-ROM. I want very badly to see your DVD, but I am way out of date around here on equipment. My son jokingly laughed, and said, " Mom, your TVs are getting old and falling apart like you are. " Well, I think they run just fine, and so do I. (Oh brother who am I trying to fool? Big silly grin here) I see changes in my husband almost daily and it isn't for the better. He had a stress test today, and going wore both of us out. But, he had pain during the test, so we will be expecting the doctor to call him to come in earlier than our planned visit. I don't even have time to do all the errands, get our medicine, go to my Dentist, much less get my hair cut. Or even washed for that matter. What a rat race. But, I do hope I can find a way to see your DVD. It is needed. Imogene Caregiver for my True Texas Gentleman husband of 35 years. Guest guest
The other thing you could try Imogene, is to ask any of the kids you know to use their PORTABLE DVD player. Lots of kids have them and then you can view it right on their machine and you don't need a TV> My granddaughter has one and I have never used it and you would get a much smaller picture, but I do know they watch movies on them. Just a thought. Other wise maybe that smart aleck (LOL) son (who will get old himself one day and we can laugh at him,) to sit with your husband and go to a neighbor and watch your DVD. It really doesn't take that long to watch. Just some thoughts. Good luck! Donna R Do you want to read more about Lewy Body? You can also read the Thistle, the LBD Newsletter.
