Guest guest
its been 2 1/2 weeks since my surgery. I saw the doctor yesterday and everything looks good. He gave me a big hug when he saw me. Its so nice to know that my surgeon takes his cases personally. And all the staff are so nice and so helpful! i can drive now. I'm doing so much better. My surgeon mentioned that I look so much happier and I have color to my face and when I was first there I had that face when people have chronic pain and I don't have that. He recalled I needed to dim the lights and I was slumped over. I just wanted to tell you all this great news to give you hope! You all have been so helpful, answering my questions and all. I'm so grateful for this experience, having the surgery, and how it all went. Im not 100% yet obviously. I cant wait to start physical therapy on Tuesday. mmm just thinking about that ultrasound on my neck muscles makes me happy :-) I'm waking up more refreshed, that thing where i feel like I'm awake for 3 days and 5 benedryl cant get me to wind down, then im asleep for 3 days where coffee at night just makes me more tired, its gone. the headaches are gone. i used to need icy hot every day and it still only made a dent. i still have some tingling and prickly pain in my arms and neck but its so mild. a little tylenol will do the trick. and im sure physical therapy will help tremendously. take care everyone i'll keep posting my good stories so that the newbies can see there are good outcomes :-) PS If you need a good doctor in southern California go see my doctor. He's amazing!
