Ok, I know where you are coming from Laurie. Grace just started

crawling (she turns 10 months...oh gosh TOMORROW!). She was slow to

sit, slow to roll, slow to crawl. And she was a HUGE HEAD! ;) I

know what your doctor means by " just enough wrong to make him second

guess himself. " But, in Grace's case, between her tort, her HUGE

HEAD, and the fact she's just plain ole' chunky seemed to be what was

slowing her down. There's also a firm connection between prone

sleeping and delayed gross motor skills. But the kids seem to catch

up by the time they are 18 months or so.

I believe there is a link to that paper in the Links section at the

community site.

Grace was also noted to refuse to put weight on her legs in her PT

evals until this last month or so.

So, don't worry! Micah is going to be fine!!! He's just taking his

time ;) Your doctor is checking things out and keeping on top of

stuff (hooray!).

I know it's easier said than done. I've done way more than my share

of obsessing about Grace's development, or lack thereof.
