Guest guest
Hi All, My mom is getting worse, but she always seems to bounce back just enough to survive. She can't talk at all any more. She only weighs maybe 60 lbs. Her bones are eating thru the skin she is so skinny. She can move her eyes around but I don't know what that means. She can't move her body and she is in a fetal position. I think she stares alot and doesn't really react to anything. She will eat a little and when they swab her mouth, she chokes a little. She forgets to swallow her food so she holds it in there for a long time. The nurse that we usually see is out for 3 weeks but she left me a message to call if anything happens that I would need her. The Lewy coaster is getting old. I hear from some your experiences that it is still so hard when there time is up. How much harder can it be than it already is? I cry so much every time I go to see my mom. That is not MY MOM anymore. How do you get thru it? Blessings to you all and to this group for the support we all so need, Lynn S. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
