I'm not actually sure - it was about 5 years ago - but I think Fess sinus surgery is less invasive than the usual sinus surgery. I had been told by a number of respiratiory physicians that sinus surgery was not good. I was told that the sini don't "like being operated on". But it got to a point where I was getting too sick with sinus probs. I got several opinions before I chose a surgeon who worked at the Melbourne Eye & Ear Hospital & who looked like he had operated on more sini that I had had breakfasts. I have been very happy with the results.

I have been told by drs that sinus surgery is not done lightly these days.

I have a bit of a sinus infection at the moment. It's th e second in a month. There are so many bugs around at the moment. I'm trying to keep away from crowds, shoppping centres etc. Though I work in a school so it's probably a waste of time. At least it's the Queen's Birthday Holiday today so I have a day off.

Keep well everyone. Theresa
