There was a 1992 edition that is not available. There is, however, the 1998 (some list it as 1997 but the book itself says 1998) Stedman's Pathology & Lab Medicine Words, 2nd Edition, which is available. I found it online at Amazon, and Noble, medbookstore.com, and Stedman's, as well as on a flyer directly from Stedman's (LW & W). The ISBN is: 0683401912. Interestingly, when you enter either the title or the ISBN number at Stedman's, the title on the left is Stedman's Pathology & Lab Medicine Words, the picture before it comes up says the same title, but when the picture appears it is Stedman's Surgery Words. (Medical Microbiology) Some books for lab terms are Sloane & Dusseau A Word Book in Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (still a good book although it is copyright 1995-- somewhat dated; published by W.B. Saunders) and HPI's Laboratory/Pathology Words & Phrases. I would also suggest a book which explains the various lab and diagnostic tests. A good one (just published so all info is up to date) is Pagana & Pagana Mosby's Diagnostic & Laboratory Test Reference, 4th ed., published by Mosby, which is now owned by W.B. Saunders. I couldn't get on the stedmans.com web site either; perhaps it was down for updating or due to the severe weather we've been having here on the East Coast (I am in PA; I know & Wilkins is located in Baltimore, MD; whether their web site is there also, I have no idea.)
