Ron,

Are you getting enough sleep? Eating properly? Taking your vitamins? I don't

like the

sound of any of what you said is happening. It could just be stress but I think

you should

see your doctor. If nothing else you MUST arrange yourself a day or two off.

There are

plenty of home care agencies around so you could get someone to give you a rest

for a

couple of days. I don't know if they have one in your area but Visiting Angels

is the

service we use and I LOVE THEM! If you can't do it for yourself than do it for

your mom so

that you can rest up and be the best you can for her. You won't be able to

support her if

you get sick or burnt out so you need to take care of yourself!

I hope this gets better for you! keep us updated!

got her situated I went into my bedroom as always which is right next to the

she would have privacy.I dont remember anything after that.My girlfriend came

tonight to

find me sound asleep and mom sitting there in her chair unable to put her chair

back.She

had yelled for me countless times without me hearing. This has never happened to

me

before and It really bothers me that I did that to mom.So I went to get her

evening meds

and Im reading them right from the list I made out and get two meds mixed up and

almost

gave them to her.Luckily I caught myself before any damage was done. Then just

now I

have mom eating a snack and was going to the restroom and ended up in the

laundry

room standing there wondering what I came in there for. This really bothers

me.Guess I

just wanted to get it off my chest.Hope all is well. Ron

HI Ron,

I'm really concerned about you. I think you body is trying to tell you

something loud and clear - its time to get some help.

This could be a matter of sleep deprivation but you really should get to the

doctor and have a physical exam. Being on call 24/7 keeps our bodies in a

hyper-alert state and this takes its toll on our bodies.

Ron, I would strongly urge you to start getting outside help in caring for your

mom. If your mom were well and was watching you caring for someone else I feel

certain she would tell you the same thing. Ron, when we finally starting

getting outside help I couldn't believe the positive difference it made and

kicked myself for not doing it sooner.

Please let us know how you are feeling today.

Sending you a big hug,

Courage

Dear Ron, darling young man, you know that it is time for your Mom to

go to a nursing Home. How many times has she needed you that you are

unaware of? I know you mean well, but bless her heart, while you were

out of it, she was not being attended. Not to mention what problems

you are having.

See your Doctor, and then see to getting your Mom in a nursing home.

Talk to your family for help. It is no disgrace on your part. But,

with you being sick, you don't need the care of a Loved One.

Her neglect, whether intentional of not, can be considered Elder

Abuse. Please don't delay in getting care for her, so that you can

properly care for yourself.

Your heart cries out to care for your Mom, but sometimes we have to

use our heads instead of our hearts.

We love you Ron, and sure don't like to see this pressure on you when

you are sick. I'm gladyou are seeing a Doctor

Love with all my heart,

Imogene

Well here I am again. One thought on the door bells. When a person

gets sick enough they don't remember to use it.

We have had one for years, because of Don's heart, but just the other

night he had severe chest pain, and didn't call me. He didn't

remember the bell. In the cold and all his pain he walked into me.

The more he hurt the more scrambled his brain became. But he came to

me at least.

From now on I plan to keep him in my room. He doesn't know it yet.

He is there now, and I have warmed the room for him.

Love a big bunch,

Imogene
