Several items, Catching up

It's been a while since I have made a posting to the list, with work and

grand-baby sitting I have been a busy fella. Well here goes:

Computer screens in dispatch- We currently have two screens, on for

vcin/ncic, one for calls for service entry. We still haven't gone on line

with CAD, waiting till we move into our new office in the new regional

jail. (next month maybe? I'm not holding my breath.

Sara- good luck in rejoining Union County. If ya gotta work, you might as

well work where you feel most comfortable with, have better pay, working

conditions ect.

Experience- I have 3/12 years total with 2 agencys. I keep saying I wish I

had started doing this 20 years ago. (Maybe my retirement would look better

if I did.)

I have a question for the list- Is anyone familiar with Alantic Tower out

of Ashland VA?

They have been selected to do 9-1-1 consultation for Alleghany County and

the city of Covington. We have yet to go to 9-1-1 and the powers that be

are looking for someone to lead them thru the process.

Again I plan to not spend so much time lurking in the shadows.
