Guest guest
I had a Psych use it with me for PTSD here in the Vancouver BC area about 10 years back. I too found it very useful and I was taught to do it by myself and still use it occasionally to rid myself of past traumas. I agree with Ron it is a very interesting concept. My last Psych in Perth, western Australia used it with me. She was the first professional to suggest to me that I might be AS. I’ve found it quite effective. Helps to distract the mind from bad memories or obsessive negative thoughts. I did learn to do it by myself. It’s a very interesting concept.Ron Subject: EMDR for Aspie Partners - recommendation Looking for someone who uses EMDR in the Seattle/Tacoma area - anyone have a suggestion? Preferably someone who is familiar with aspergers. Thanks!
