I can really understand your feeling down – and it is hard for others who don’t experience this to understand, friends sometimes just drift away... And sometimes there just doesn’t seem to be enough sugar around to make the lemons palatable! I guess about all one can really do is acknowledge this is how it is, then recognise it isn’t for ever, there will be an end. And meanwhile there are jokes to laugh at, movies to cry in, and the odd special moment to treasure. And in that process of acknowledging our condition acceptance, dispassionately. Some people get to live in wheelchairs, in tin shacks some in mansions or palaces. None of those conditions cause happiness or unhappiness in themselves, only the state of mind.

I know - when you feel wretched, can’t breathe, in pain – state of mind!!! Oh, please!

Sometimes I have managed to be dispassionate and accepting, other times, as you, as probably all of us on this often bloody uncomfortable roller-coaster journey of a life you feel like – THE CAT WITH BAD ‘TUDE! Please, I hope no-one is offended by the attachment – a friend sent it to me, I cracked up (laugh)
