Hi,

My Urologist didn't know what Tethered Cord was I think b/c he said you should

be able to diagnose it looking at an MRI.   And that isn't true.  But when my

Urodynamic test came back abnormal he asked was I going to do the TC surgery or

do I need a medicine for my bladder issues.  I stated no more meds please, ha

ha!  Needless to say alot of Dr.'s are not familiar with Tethered Cord or don't

really acknowledge it.   Probably including many Urologists, but yours may be

different.  Only way to know is ask him.  Best wishes!!
