Guest guest
Hi, My name is Glola and I have recently been diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. I had a lung biopsy to confirm the type and they have told me that Prednisone will not help me. From what I have been reading I think I am glad about that. I am in the early stages of the disease and I am not on oxygen. At this point my symptoms are fairly mild. I am trying to get back into exercising after the biopsy to stay as well as I can. I am 65 years old and a retired teacher. I have never smoked nor lived with a smoker. We have no idea where I got this disease. I have been married for 41 years and my husband and I have 4 married children. We enjoy our 8 grandchildren a lot and we are expecting a ninth in the fall. I enjoy my flower garden, reading, and Scrabble. I belong to a Bible study, craftgroup Scrabble club and book club, and my friends are very important to me. They have been very supportive the last few weeks My favorite movies are "Princess Bride" and "Second Hand Lions" I have been reading the info on this site for about a week and feel like I have learned a lot from it about the disease. etc. In July I am going to the U of Chicago to see if they have any suggestions for me. The NAC sounds very interesting and I want to find out more about it. Enough for now. Glola Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
