This is always a possibility for this practitioner. She often says something

wrong and then just says...OH you know what I mean!!

LOL

Let's don't lash anyone with any wet noodles. I'm so thankful for this list.

I appreciate everybody's input. I take what you all say and use it to

continue looking in my own sources. I get good ideas here and I think we all

know how to use the information without just assuming the first person who

helps is absolutely right. Thanks to EVERYBODY!!!

Hello,I would like to start by saying I was wrong to say that it was legit for theDoc to say head pulse when she should have correctly said temporal. If the doc did say "head pulse" and not maybe "had pulse" or something elsethen, indeed the temporal pulse is what the doc should be saying, althoughwe know they don't always say things the way it should be. I also don'tknow if the doc is just saying head pulse because she can't recall thecorrect, temporal at the moment. The reason to put it in parenthesis would be so that it is documented whereit was taken. When I took patients pulses at a site other than the radialsite I was to put it in parenthesis so that it was clear that it was takensomewhere other than the radial. The reason to take it at a site other than the most common site, radialartery, could include injury or trauma to the arm and various other reasons.I don't know anything else about the patient that would help me know why itwas put at the end of the vital signs unless the pulse was taken at anothersite originally and then taken again at the "head" . I don't know that itwas noted earlier in the report as my e-mail did not indicate this.(?)A thousand lases with a wet noodle for saying it was legit. It is possibleshe meant temporal.TGIF Re: re: head pulse> Hi, ,>> Can you provide a source that documents this term?
