New Living and The Green Painter in Houston

Hello all!! I just wanted to share my wonderful experience with these 2 stores

for those of you who are interested!

We recently bought new chemical free mattresses from the New Living store

located out in Rice Village in Houston, and couldn't be happier! Having

triplets, 2 with Autism, I was determined to provide as green an environment as

I could possibly afford. New Living (specifically, Adam, who is part-owner)

helped us make that possible! Not only were they highly knowledgable, they

worked with our family to make this dream a reality. In working with Adam, it

was evident to me that New Living strives to provide affordable chemical free

products (mattresses, flooring, kitchen tile, etc etc) to the everyday person.

He was extremely sensitive to our situation (Autism), and went out of his way to

MAKE SURE that we were able to provide this opportunity to our family.

We also painted the kids rooms. After researching NO VOC paints, we decided to

go with paint that we purchased from the Green Painter store in Houston, located

just next to New Living. The kids did not react to the paint whatsoever, and

the fumes diminished as the paint dried! (they weren't even strong when the

paint was wet) I was nervous, but having used the NOVOC paint in the kids rooms

without any reaction at all, I would highly recommend to any family attempting

to green their environment.

Anyway--just wanted to share with you all! Have a wonderful day!
