Guest guest
Carol, It will forever amaze me how our LOs can change day for night! Grandma slept ALL day yesterday (and THANK GOD since I was having my freak out moment!) but was up at 4am wanting Bob to fix her breakfast today. Which of course she ate about 3 bites of. I felt bad for not doing more to keep her up yesterday since I knew it would probably mean she'd be bugging Bob all night but she was totally zonked and beyond yelling loudly and smackin her face every few minutes I'd have had no luck. I just wasn't up to that. I'm sorry Millie is keeping you up all night! Thats funny that the dog wouldn't sleep with her because she was snoring so loudly! My dog when I was a teenager would ONLY sleep with me and I've been told I snore terribly. ;-) I feel slightly better this morning. I still feel exactly the same way about things that I did yesterday but with a less desperate tinge to the whole thing. I've discovered that I can only sustain that level of panic for a certain amount of time and if I can wait it out than usually within 24-36 hours I at least won't feel like breaking dishes and hitting people anymore. So a big THANK YOU to all of you who helped me through the panic moment. I'm still not happy and I still need to gather the gumption to do something about it but at least its not giving me a migraine so far today. ;-) I have a feeling I will be an early to bed person tonight for the first New Years that I can remember since I was a kid. I just don't feel like I have it in me to celebrate anything.
