Question about therapy and school

Hi guys,

My son will start kindergarden in the fall in Plano ISD. He has been doing ABA

in home for the past three years with a wonderful therapist. In order to

accommodate her into his schedule next year, I need to pull him out of school 2

days a week at 1(school ends at 2:45). I know that HB 192 allows me to do this

without any penalty to him(technically). I was wondering if anyone else has

pulled their kids out for any therapy. Do I just tell the school that I will be

doing this? What about his IEP goals? Can they use that as an excuse why he is

not mastering them? I can have them take a few out to make up for the time. I'm

going to talk to the principal soon so I would appreciate ANY help.

Thank you so much for your help in advance
