A Disabled Boy’s Death, and a System in Disarray

This is so disturbing and long, but of utmost importance to us in the autism community. I doubt Texas institutions are much better or safer for the disabled. There has been some discussion about state homes vs inhome living funding in the state budget. Does anyone have details about the funding cuts? We know that the disability services have been cut drastically which will effect our inhome services, but how does it effect the institutions?
