Guest guest
Hey guys: This is a great article about that new show I was telling you about, ALPHAS, on Syfy. Last night's episode was pretty amazing. They come across a woman who appears to have a lower functioning autism, and at first I start rolling my eyes, but then the character, , figures out that her making sounds with the way she rubs things was a language she developed for herself. Then later on in the episode a computer interface (an IPad actually) allows them to communicate more effectively. I cannot say enough good things about this show. The episode was called Rosetta, and I think it reairs at other times this week. You don't really need to have seen the other episodes to watch this as a stand-alone episode. I got Jeff on board with it last night, in fact. http://communities.washingtontimes.com/neighborhood/autism-unexpected/2011/aug/2\ /autistic-tv-ryan-cartwright-syfy-alphas/ Hilda
