Guest guest
Hello all, My next mission is to put together a cookbook. I couldn't believe when I saw that there is a data base for recipes right on this site. I would greatly appreciate any and all recipes that you and your family and friends would like to share. This project, of course, will take some time. But I would like to then put together a PF cookbook. Thank you in advance for recipes. Guest guest
Leanne, Tell us how to enter our recipes. I still love to cook. I loved your photos. Great looking family. Couldn't get all mine on. I need to take some group photos. Can't get everyone in the same place at the same time. When I get brave I will put my prednisone pictures on. I have lost about 60 pounds since then. I looked like a baloon. Sad thing is I look like a baloon with the air out, now. My daughter got me some firming oil for Mother's Day.....yeah, I am sure that is going to work! My daughter lives in Chicago. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, Go to the database section on the front page of the web page. It kind of limits you as to how to enter the information. You put the name of your recipe, the ingredients, instructions, etc. It may be a little cumbersome, but when you print it out in report form I think it will be a bit clearer. Let me know if this helps. Leanne Moderator ipf - 1/03janne5303 wrote: Leanne, Tell us how to enter our recipes. I still love to cook. I loved your photos. Great looking family. Guest guest
here's mine: Phred's Roast Beast One largish roast beef Trim fat Place on chicken rack Put 3 or more gashes on top Insert clove of garlic, whole clove, clove of garlic in each Baste with Mr. Jack's (Jack 's) Mustard Sprinkle with thyme, powdered or flaked, no biggie Use toothpicks and wrap in bacon Stick in oven at 450 for 4 hours Remove bacon after 3rd hour. Enjoy with fresh spinach salad (baby spinach, sliced red Bermuda onion, croutons, feta cheese and cherry tomatoes) with oil and vinegar dressing w/salt & pepper. You can cook potatoes (prefer small red new potatoes) in the gravy as you cook the beef. Enjoy! Fred ---- Original Message ---- From: ls_pulmonaryfibrosis@... Guest guest
Hello Leanne. One of the first reasons I was given for my having PF was Rheumitoid Lung. I had started reading up on foods that cause inflamation. I spent some time reading "Inflamation Nation", but havent read the whole thing. Are those the kind of food recipes your looking for? It sounds like a great idea. lynnA >> Hello all,> > My next mission is to put together a cookbook.> > I couldn't believe when I saw that there is a data base for recipes > right on this site. Guest guest
Hi LynnA I'm looking for ALL types of recipes. Family secret recipes. Favorite recipes. I LOVE to cook. and Bake. (and Eat) My favorite cook books are the ones that church groups put out or organizations come up with. This will be an on-going project. I would like to collect at least 100 recipes - Appetizers, desserts, main dishes, etc. Maybe I need to change the title of the cookbook. Any suggestions? Leanne ipf - 1/03Armede wrote: Hello Leanne. Guest guest
.... Chief no, chef ... maybe! This is a recipe I found on a RECIPE CARD sent me years ago. My wife, a retired Philippine High School Home Ec teacher (17 years), added the whole cloves which smoothed out the dominant garlicky taste. I am going to try the same thing with pork ... subbing cinnamon for garlic, ginger for cloves and, baste in applesauce! I already made this utilizing a HUGE piece of elk (that's right, E-L-K!) a hunter friend of mine gave us one year for Christmas dinner. Out-farking-standing!!!!! fl ---- Original Message ---- From: pac1773@...
