Hi all,

I've been doing the work off and on for about 6 months now and am very impressed

with

the sense of peace it gives me--somehow The Work always helps me find faith that

no

matter what happens, everything will be ok.

I have some questions for some of you who are perhaps more experienced

practicioners.

Does doing the Work ever just make you so tired, like you are just in this

endless hamster

wheel of thoughts?

About 50% of the time that I do The Work I feel absolutely peaceful

afterwards--only when

my thoughts are undone can I truly rest. But the other 50% of the time there

are so many

stressful thoughts that keep coming and coming that I end up cutting things

short or

feeling like I haven't really gotten to the " final undoing " so to speak. When

I try to go

back the next day or when I have time, it seems like the " moment " is lost and I

am busy

questioning other thoughts.

Also, do any of you find yourselves just so unmotivated/lazy about doing the

work?

Again, about half the time I am excited to dive right in with my worksheet (ok,

it's an excel

spreadsheet, but still). The other half of the time I find myself saying, " Oh

Amy just

lighten up. Go play with the kids or walk the dog or watch a funny movie or go

out with

friends instead of using the little free time you have stewing in stressful

thoughts/

emotions. "

Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks!

amy
