Dear Joy,

that wasn't the question. That's the side you had already found.

I don't care for who does my dishes. I like them clean. So if I see them dirty,

I do them. If someone else is available: good. If no one wants to: those were my

dishes, anyway and I am the one who wants them clean.

I can always find someone who should do my dishes, if I let my mind play around

a little bit. But you know what? That doesn't get the dishes done. And if I see

a problem, it means I didn't clean well enough, yet.

That's how *I* free up my energy.

PS: What's the problem, anyway? You want to relax? Let the dishes be dishes and

relax!

After a lifetime of cleaning my own and others (private and public

sectors), I am in a place where I can safely say that I would RELISH

the notion of someone coming in a cleaning. Yes. Do my laundry. Yes.

Do the dishes. Yes, scrub my fridge and after that do my bed and wash

the floors, walls and windows - so that I can free up my energy to do

stuff that's fun, laid back and enriches my mind.

Oh dear, yes.
