Guest guest
Hi , This is both a thanks for asking about Daddy -- and also an apology for not writing you sooner. Daddy is better now, but things are still beyond wild. I've posted a few quick messages, but have had no real time on the computer until yesterday and now today. I've been waiting for the time to write you, so that I could write a real message. How are you? Hope that things with you and your family are good. And your horses, too! But then they're family, huh? Daddy worsened when he first got home. I don't think that he was ready to be dismissed from the hospital, but you know how the insurance companies dump them out these days, all in the name of saving a buck. Anyway, thankfully he is now improving. And thank you again, for your concern; it surely is appreciated. Daddy never took the Immunostart. My stepmother was afraid for him to do so, and I understand that. But interestingly, during all this, she has watched me and is now very interested in Mannatech -- she is checking into the stock, reading my copy of Sugars That Heal by Mondoa................Actions really do speak louder than words, don't they? The supplements that you had rushed to me saved the day. They helped me get out of bed and stay there until day before yesterday, when a compilation of long emotional days, eating poorly (anything and everything I wanted, I'm ashamed to say), not enough sleep, going over to my Father's and Step-mother's house to take food and stay with Daddy, etc..................well it all caught up again. Without the supplements, I am sure that I wouldn't have made it this long. Or be improving this quickly. Thank you! An interesting thing has happened......at the end of last week, I started getting what felt like the beginnings of a fever blister. That's not surprising, as I've had them before, and as I was taxed to the max (no rhyme intended, I promise!) with everything I was and wasn't doing. Plus, I've just finished this third round of antibiotics, which has let candida go wild. Anyway, the fever blister was very much longer in coming than ever before -- the itching stage lasted for days, then disappeared, then started again, then a big one arrived. It was like my body was not giving in easily, but finally did succumb. That was yesterday. Out of a " what can I put on it when nothing's really helped in the past? " mode, I grabbed the gel with the Ambrotose complex in it, Emprizone, and started putting that on it. Several times yesterday and last night, and now again today. Well, , at this stage when my fever blisters are usually at a horrendous stage and getting ready to form a scab, this one is amazingly better! I keep looking at it in the mirror with pleasant disbelief, each time thinking that it's really not as good as I thought it was. But you know what? It is. It's still there, but more like a rough raised spot than an active fever blister. I've concluded that it must be the Emprizone, along with the glycos and Ambrotose I take. Have you ever heard of similar? So today I am studying and exploring Mannatech....and looking for a meeting that I can attend. I missed the one in Atlanta last week, but that is a good location for me and so am searching for possible upcoming meetings there. Lori mentioned that I am in her downline.....I'm still not knowledgeable about such, but am trying to get it! Regarding sales, I have to be approached and offer, rather than to approach and sell.....don't know how to do this yet. Would developing a website be helpful? Hope to talk to you soon, ! Warm regards, Barbara
