Sounds like your husband doesn't have to worry about carbs too much. I can't eat all that rice and pasta without paying for it in high bg's. And those are the things I love most. Oh well, I'm trying to live by my meal plan as much as possible for the first time in 19 years of this disease. I guess I knew I'd have to give up something.
