Guest guest
I just wanted to thank everyone for your opinions and advice about exercising. I have appreciated everyone, whether you thought it was a good idea or not. I just joined a little bit ago, so I thought I would write a short bio of myself. I am 25 years old, live in Utah and currently attending Utah State University. I have been married to my wonderful wife for four years and we know have a baby daughter who is almost 3 months old. I was diagnosed in Nov. of '99 and had surgery on 3/29/99, 20 days after our daughter was born. I am now back to work and trying to finish up the classes I missed during surgery. I am also applying for an internship as an insurance adjuster. Needless to say my life is very hectic right now, as I am sure all of yours are. I guess you could say we are " living la vita loca " . As I have written, I love to be active, especially running and playing baseball. I talked to my surgeon, who I think is one of the greatest men to live, and he told me I have to wait a couple of months before I can start running again, which I will do. I am also planning on taking it easy for quite some time, I want to be active but I don't have a death wish. Someone mentioned a syrinx(sp) would be harder to deal with. I was not diagnosed with one which I am very grateful for. From reading a lot of your e-mails I know that I have gotten of lucky with this and thank God everyday for the abilities I still have. Again, I want to thank everyone for your support, and I look forward to hearing from all of you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/chiari - Simplifying group communications
