My boss should think highly of me. Is that true?

A week ago had my one month probationary evaluation with my boss and

the manager where I work, and left it feeling odd.

Thought about it later, and realized I'd not heard one good thing

about how I was doing, but did hear some criticisms. Boss even told

me he wanted to schedule another meeting in a month to check in on

things. I didn't understand, and he said he wanted to see how I was

doing. I still didn't understand and had to ask again, and that's

when he brought up issues he only could have known of if my coworkers

had discussed me with him behind my back. Ironically one of the last

things he said to me was that he wants me to work more closely with

my coworkers, and I realized he wants me to work more closely with

the same people who'd told him of things they thought I wasn't doing

right.

After I left, I felt really weird. Been trying to be with it, do the

work on it since then.

Coming to mind are the buddhist sayings -

May all beings experience happiness and the root of happiness.

May all beings be free of suffering and the root of suffering.

And when I say that in regards to him and my coworkers, I find much

peace. Also when I say it about myself. Either way, wishing beings

those things brings me peace. Being conscious there's a 'root', that

helps. Something was planted at some time and grew.

I'm realizing what he said is really helping me, helping bring to the

surface my insecurities. I do make mistakes sometimes. Will I ever

be at peace with that? And maybe that which I am IS supposed to make

mistakes, in which case is it a mistake????

A fortune cookie saying I got recently was something like -

You are surrounded by friends.

Sometimes I'd definitely disagree with that, I don't feel like I have

friends where I live (newly moved to Anchorage). But a part of me is

starting to see all beings, everything, as my 'friend.' And it's

exciting. Friends that help me awaken to the Truth. What better

friend is there?

As I reread the title of this post, I feel a warmth within, as I

realize in this moment I think highly of my boss! Thanks boss :) And

as I think highly of him, I think highly of myself for thinking

highly of him... and on it goes.

Heck, I might even get fired at my next assessment, which would be

divine perfection, I'm certain of that in this moment.

What gifts I receive.

Hi ~

Are you interested in working the statements that you see as

critical? From either your boss or the co-workers that you think may

have discussed your work? I am still one who is working on my story

around being critisized and unless I do the work on my judgements

around other/s who give me this information, I still interpret it as

something that they shouldn't be doing. I miss the gift and I miss

the ways that they can enlighten me to myself by hearing what they

have to say without defense. Was the 'weird' feeling a feeling of

defensiveness? My defense can be very subtle these days, and I see

that it is still an act of war and seperation.

Best wishes

dear mary ..

hope you got to do the work with catherine..

im still not working.. i did do a bit of shopping for a friend

who broke her leg.. but other than that a few times a week..

im unemployed.. did the work.. on i need a job with mona and the

turnaround was i need a vacation..

I think its true but my husband doesnt..

i hope to look tomorrow ..

it has given me more time to do the work.. and i hope to more..

i heard katie on a cd recently saying people dont get fired..

they fire themselves..TRUE i complained and that got me fired.. and

i talked about getting fired.. or quitting.. so i do think i

ended up firing myself..

i was ready for a change..

If you are creating that job.. and enjoying it.. i dont see how

you would get fired.. but as you said it could be the divine plan to

be fired also.. i think it was in my case..

or should i say obviously was.

love, roslyn

I do not have skype. I don't have a personal computer, the one I use

is in a living space that is shared by about 25 people, so no

privacy, and we're limited to being on computer for 20 minutes at a

time.

I don't think I can download stuff onto it anyway.

So for me, it'd be a phone call, which I'd pay for the call if you're

interested in doing the work.

Let me know.

And why is skype free? What does skype get out of people using it?

Is it advertising based?
