Guest guest
Maybe Dr.Levin could tell you the answer he would have said to that question (maybe it would be the same or different) but seeing as he is a doctor who preforms the same surgeries maybe he might have a different answer. But there is nothing wrong with Venting, we all need to do this sometime. We're all here to listen. I am so Inpatient Please don't take this the wrong way I am not FLamming the doctor (Dr. Awadalla) I am just upset..... I went to the doctor today for my two week check up from my TR on October 5th. I and so aggrevated. I ask him if I needed to have my progestrone check he said (no). I then ask him how soon I can have a HSG to see if my left tube stayed open. HE said don't worry about give it 9 months then we will worry..UUGGHHH....I am worried now... But other than that he is so nice and sweet. I just want more aggresive approach. SO do you guys think I am crazy. He was laughing and said it only been a little over 2 weeks give it time. (Easy for him to say) LOL.... I feel better now that I have vented. WOw this TTC rollercoaster is not easy....<smile> THanks
Guest guest
That is what I thought to but he said no its not important at this time. He said just because I had a TL it did not stop me from ovulating. I was real frustrated. I am trying to be patient but it is hard for me. I will insist on one if I get pregant. I just worried if I do get pregant and my progestrone is low and I miscarry then I really am going to be mad since I ask him to check it NOW. > I have to make a point. Guest guest
, Yes the TTC roller coaster ride is awful sometimes. I've been at it for 10 months. Most of the time you have to miscarry before they'll test for things. Most of the things I've read they made the woman go through 3 miscarriages before they tested. I've been through 1 and I refuse to go through it again. I'll snap if I do. I was on my 7th month and was getting ready to do the hsg test and found out I was pregnant so yea they make you wait a while. Hope to hear from you again soon. 26 Misty 30 Ricky 9 Shelby 8 TL 8-27-93 done by a surgeon dumb enough to listen to me *lol* TR 12-18-00 - Dr. Levin Baby Fenton (Angel in Heaven) > >Reply-To: TubalLigationReversal >To: TubalLigationReversal >Subject: I am so Inpatient >Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2001 19:11:42 -0000 > > > Please don't take this the wrong way I am not FLamming the doctor >(Dr. Awadalla) I am just upset..... > > I went to the doctor today for my two week check up from my TR on >October 5th. Guest guest
I have to make a point. You DO need your progesterone checked! If not now, then DEFINATELY when you get pregnant. Insist on it if you get a positive pregnancy test. Sherri I am so Inpatient Please don't take this the wrong way I am not FLamming the doctor (Dr. Awadalla) I am just upset..... Guest guest
, I don't think you are acting " irrationally " at all. I had my tr in Jan,01 and I didn't get any tests until July, that was the hsg, through that I found out my right tube is blocked at the uterus. Next, I was told to keep trying. Then a few months later I was sent for a progestrone test which came back showing I had very low level, if I would have gotten preg. would have miscarried because of insufficient prog. level. So now I use prog supp. Then I had an endemetrial biopsy which told me that I have too short of a luteal phase. Then the last thing I had done was a little over 2 wks ago, that was the post coital test and that told me I have very, very little cervical mucous so if I'm not preg. this time we'll start trying the inseminations. So I understand how you feel. I wish I would have found all these things out a lot sooner and I might have been preg. right now. I guess though, in their(Dr's)defense, they are the experts and we have to trust why they do what they do. Just don't feel alone with these feelings, I know where you're coming from! Love Ya! Guest guest
Just here to say once again, if I would have known about my prog. defeciency I may be preg. now. If your prog. is low you may never even know you were preg. and would just go ahead and have AF. That's what I was told. I cannot carry a baby without these prog. supp. So I use these exactly as ordered.
Guest guest
thanks for your support. I am now 2 days late for AF and have taken two test both (-) so I know how you feel. I wish AF would get her if she is coming so I can go onto a new month. LOL... Let me know how things go with you. > , I don't think you are acting " irrationally " at all. Guest guest
Donna, Progestrone testing is done by the drawing of the blood. Over and done and diagnosed very quickly! Hope you don't have to use the prog. supp. Love Ya!
