I love these little creatures. They're so tiny that, unless you're really paying attention, you thought you saw a bug! They hang out at our gazebo area at work at some of the plants in the yard there.

Humming-Bird

I saw a HummingBird today 'standing Still' on one of my tomato cages in the rain taking a shower and primping its feathers ,,, it had its wings outward but still for most of a whole min... Not something you see everyday :))

How lucky you are to have seen a hummingbird, I bought a feeder and

mixed up a syrup for it, but I never did get it hung up, I imagine it

is to late to try now to put it out here in Nebraska. My first

experience in watching them was in PA last July while visiting a

friend of mine, she had a feeder on her porch and we could set and

watch them, they are a beautiful creature, I bought a Trumpet Vine to

put out to attract them, but it was so dried out, it is only now

shooting out foilage. Maybe next year I will have more luck.

Oh that would be a gorgeous sight, I remember the hummingbirds out in the country here...they would come and feed all the time. We dont' see any of them here in the city as it is to noisy.

How nice! And to share it with the group. It is small things like that, we tend to keep to ourselves when others might like to hear it.
