I don't really see it as public at all. I see it more like 's

living room, and we all are invited guests. She's the hostess, and she

sets the tone for what happens in her living room.

The concepts of free speech and censorship don't apply to private

groups. The list owner can run their group any way that they like, to

the extent of making certain topics off-limits, calling an end to

divisive discussions, etc.
