Guest guest
Ha. It is insane. LOL. I know what you mean. I have to have a prescription to go to the pharmacy and buy a little plastic tube, but I can go to a home health company and rent a portable oxygen concentrator without even a question asked. Insane. I believe they fall under the auspices of a medical device which is why they need a prescription. Stupid rule I know, but sometimes it is what it is I suppose. Ann Re: Do ashtma attacks feel differently? Right, it's also called a spacer. My drugstore (Walgreen's at the time) required a prescription, and when my first one wore out and needed to be replaced, my insurance wouldn't cover the replacement, though they had covered the original. It has a mouthpiece and an opening at the opposite end into which you insert the mouthpiece of the albuterol inhaler. The coughing had been triggered by the medication hitting the back of my throat in a sudden burst, and the extender completely eliminated the problem.> >> >Slats>
