That's a cute dog story. I've always had German shepherds, which have a double

coat and change it out completely twice a year. The " underwear hair " comes out

first, and then the outer coat follows, and all of a sudden I look at the dog in

horror and think I must have been starving the poor thing, because she suddenly

looks at least 10 pounds lighter!

I've known some Marty's and they've all been women. My real name is uncommon -

an Americanized spelling of a Swedish name - Signa. I have even more trouble

with that than I do with " Slats " .
