Feeding Clinic Oct. 20-24th , Director of Behavioral Services at The Center, will be providing a feeding clinic the week of October 20th- 24th. Space may be available pending participant confirmation. The feeding therapy program is implemented using principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Instructional techniques include evidence-based strategies such as differential reinforcement of an alternative behavior (DRA), sequential reinforcement, simultaneous reinforcement, shaping, texture fading, a bite size fading. We use data collection to monitor progress and demonstrate program success. Family participation is required. Collaboration between home, school, and other therapy environments are encouraged. The Foundations Program The Center is excited to announce the opening of The Foundations Program, a learning center designed to maximize your preschooler's potential. The Foundations Program is a preschool-aged educational project that uses strategies of applied behavioral analysis to guide the teaching of 3 core areas of development: Pre-academic skills Social and play skills Adaptive skills Under the direction of , JD, MEd, BCBA and certified early childhood educators, children will learn developmentally appropriate skills in a nurturing, small group setting with a low student-to-teacher ration. For children who need extra help in skill acquisition, one-on-one instruction will be available to focus on individual issues. We are an inclusive program that welcomes both children with autism spectrum disorders and developmentally typical peers.
